Dumped A Scumbag At The Altar For A One Night Stand With A Billionaire

Chapter 253: Till The End Of Time

Chapter 253: Till The End Of Time

Two years later...

Celine hurried down the steps of the Blue Crystal resort on Rowena islands. This was the same resort she and Tristan had worked painstakingly back then to get the lands for. The construction had finally been finished a year ago, and this year, they’d come to spend the New Year on the island again; however, this time, it wasn’t just Celine, Tristan and the kids who’d come.

The hotel’s interior held an eastern royalty theme, classic and elegant. Following the island’s customs, there were a few beautiful paintings of Rowena herself. Tristan had gotten the best artists from around the world to make those paintings, and the island chief, Richard, had been immensely pleased.

"Mommy! Why are you running late again? Daddy is already waiting for you," Leah called, running in from the entrance.

"Alright, alright, I’m coming." Celine shook her head at the fact that her daughter was now scolding her as she obediently followed the girl.

Well, everyone knew her for always being late now, but it wasn’t her fault that she usually overslept these days, after all...

Celine smiled, placing her hand on her belly.

After all, there was another little life growing inside her now.

A few days after they’d arrived at the Rowena islands, Celine had started to feel somewhat sick. The symptoms were recurring, and at first, she thought it was from overexerting herself or exhaustion from the flight, until she had been taken to the doctor by Tristan, who would not accept her usual excuse that she would be fine.

And to her surprise, it was confirmed she was pregnant again. Tristan had been overjoyed. Though they had delayed having another child for some time, Tristan had suddenly desired to have another child recently, and she hadn’t expected it to happen so soon.

Tristan had been excessively attentive ever since then. She wasn’t allowed to go on walks on the beach alone anymore, and she wasn’t allowed to eat anything except healthy meals. Celine smiled as she recalled a memory from a few days ago when she had thrown a tantrum at him for not allowing her to eat junk food; she’d literally cried and screamed until there was a large bowl of ice cream and dark chocolate cake laden with strawberries in front of her, just like she’d requested.

As they walked toward the front lobby, Leah suddenly stopped.

"Mommy, will you wait for me here for a while? I want to go say hi to baby Penny," Leah requested.

Celine smiled, knowing Leah couldn’t resist the adorable baby Penny, so she nodded. "Alright, hurry up now, or else I’m the one everyone will scold for being late."

Leah beamed and happily ran toward Natalia and Christopher’s suite.

Penny was Natalia’s baby; the adorable girl was almost a year old now, and Leah absolutely could not get enough of her.

Though the kids were already aware they were going to have a new sibling, it was Leo who was more attentive to her than Leah was, though she had jumped in joy when she found out.

Leo was just like his father; he would fuss whenever he saw her stuffing her face with junk food whenever Tristan wasn’t around. She would glare at him, telling him not to mention a word of it to his father.

"Tsk, an adult being so childish," Leo would click his tongue at her.

Celine wouldn’t be able to say a word but watch him walk away while shaking his head at her.

Do you have to be like your father this much? she’d mutter with a mouthful, not believing how strict her seven-year-old son was.

While waiting for Leah, Celine suddenly heard a familiar name being mentioned.

"... Lilian Roberts, a young and beautiful actress, was said to have been caught in a director’s bed. There had been rumors about her being promiscuous, landing her roles through underhanded means, but she repeatedly denied it.

Cast in a big-budget movie set to be released next year, she was soaring to the peak of her career until a jealous wife of director Walter Scott caught her in bed with her husband. In her jealousy, the woman dragged the actress out of the hotel room naked. Spectators who recognized the actress stopped to take multiple pictures of her in that state.

After this incident, many of her other affairs were revealed to the public. To get her roles, Lilian Roberts had indeed been paying directors and producers with her body. She is now in hiding as all the angry wives of the men she’d slept with are after her seeking revenge.

As of the moment, the last piece of news about her is that she has fled to the countryside due to the huge scandal. It is indeed surprising how corrupted the entertainment industry has now gotten. This is the hottest celebrity news, stay tuned after the commercial..."

Celine noticed that a man sitting in the waiting chairs was streaming celebrity gossip on his phone. From where she stood, she could see everything clearly since he was sitting with his back to her.

Celine sighed, looking away. It seemed Lilian had returned to the industry again with her shady tactics and this time she was openly caught and exposed. Whatever happened, she brought it upon herself, but somewhere inside, Celine felt a slight pang of pity.

"Celine," Natalia called, walking toward her holding baby Penny with Leah following behind her. "Let’s go, Chris just called and they’re all waiting for us."

"Have you seen the latest entertainment news?" Celine asked.

"Oh, that. I saw it this morning. I was actually going to tell you about it," Natalia said with a sigh.

"I feel bad for her. Do you think she’ll be alright?" Celine asked as they walked.

"I’m not sure, but knowing Lilian, she’ll want to pick herself back up again. She never gives up," Natalia deduced.

Celine nodded silently.

"But you really don’t have to feel bad for her. Remember what she did to you in the past? Whatever is happening to her might just be her karma."

"But you know what? I’m actually not mad at her anymore. In fact, I should thank her for it, because had she not shown her true colors and betrayed me, then I probably never would have known the kind of person Ian was, and I probably would have never met Tristan," Celine said, reminiscing about the past.

From the time she’d caught Ian, her fiancé who she was supposed to marry, in bed with Lilian, she had been broken. Ian had even threatened her, trying to force her into pushing through with the wedding.

And that was where she had first met Tristan. Something in his eyes had inspired her; she ran away from the wedding despite the consequences. But as fate would have it, she had stumbled into Tristan’s penthouse suite.

Yes, it had indeed been fate. She’d met this stranger, impulsively spent a night with him, but who knew she’d get this outcome?

Because of that, she’d faced endless pain. She had to leave home for five years, but in the end, upon her return, no matter how much she tried to run away from it, she met him again—and no matter how much she’d tried to force her heart not to, she still fell deeply in love with him.

And even after all the hopelessness and pain, she was now living happily with the man she loved.

So she should indeed thank Lilian and Ian, because it had been due to them that she now finally got to meet the man she loved and also have her lovely kids with him, and now they were going to have another one.

"Hmm, if you put it like that, I should thank her too. After all, if she hadn’t drugged me that night, maybe my story with Chris wouldn’t have gone the way it did."

Celine laughed. "Funny enough, she had something to do with both our love stories," Celine remarked, before a soft baby cooing came from Natalia’s arms.

Baby Penny was extending her hands toward Celine, happily smiling. The little girl had beautiful dark eyes just like her father’s, but her adorable features looked exactly like Natalia’s.

"Aww, I’m sorry I didn’t say hi. Come here," Celine said.

She took the little girl from Natalia, holding her in her arms while playing with her.

"Did you plan on taking forever, honey?" Christopher hurried over as they walked out onto the beach.

Baby Penny giggled immediately she saw her father.

"How’s my baby doing?" Christopher playfully tickled the girl before he reached for his wife, giving her a kiss.

Penny eagerly reached for her father, and Christopher had to cut his sweet time with his wife to carry the excited baby.

He held Natalia by the waist with one hand while carrying the baby in the other as they walked down the beach toward a table set for breakfast.

Celine watched the couple’s backs with a smile on her face. She was more than happy that her friend had also found the man of her dreams just like she had.

Celine’s gaze fell on the children playing and laughing happily on the sand. Even Leo, who was usually aloof, was now playing around.

Then her gaze landed on Tristan, who was wearing an apron, setting the table.

Her smile widened as he looked over at her. She had told him she was craving the special breakfast he always made her ever since they got married. He looked over at her and smiled, taking off the apron as he approached her.

"Did you rest well?" he asked, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer.

Celine pouted. "Leah was scolding me for waking up late again," she said in a complaining tone.

Tristan laughed, dropping a light kiss on her lips before rubbing her nose with his. He found her incredibly cute, especially ever since she got pregnant again.

She threw tantrums, and her mood swung like a spiral, but he couldn’t help always finding her adorable.

"I made breakfast just the way you want it. Come on," he said, pulling her toward the table.

Celine happily wound her arm with his as she followed him.

---

That evening, Celine had just gotten off a phone call with her manager, Elise who was telling her about how Lightstar Entertainment CEO, Peter Hansley was repeatedly knocking at her door begging to take Celine back into his company, despite several rejections, it seemed he didn’t know when to quit, but some boats have already floated across the sea, never to return again.

Celine turned around as a knocking sound came at her door. She got up to open it and found Leo standing outside.

"Leo? Wasn’t your dad supposed to put you to bed?" Celine asked.

Leo sighed. "Apparently he’s got other plans."

"What plans?" Celine asked, frowning slightly.

Leo didn’t reply. Instead, he pulled her hands, dragging her with him, though he made sure not to go too fast—Celine reckoned he was considering the fact that she was pregnant.

She smiled as she recalled walking in on them when he had been sitting in the lounge with his father and they were both curiously reading books on pregnancy. They had both hidden the book, pretending not to be reading anything, but she had clearly seen the title.

Once again, she marveled at the similarities between father and son; they were both so alike, as if they were mirrors of each other.

Leo led her outside onto the beach. A half-full moon hung in the sky that night, and the weather was mildly chilly.

Leo pointed ahead into the darkness. "Daddy says you should walk straight ahead from here," he informed.

"What? Why?" Celine asked cluelessly.

Leo shrugged. "I guess you’ll find out. My work here is done."

The boy turned around and went back inside the resort.

Celine frowned suspiciously. Usually at this time of evening, there would be many people on the beach, but the place was ominously silent. She felt an internal premonition before she began walking ahead as instructed.

However, she had just walked some distance when lights suddenly came on.

Celine stopped in her tracks and looked up, but she couldn’t see anything beyond the bright lights.

A smile came upon her lips.

A projection was playing on the sand in front of her.

It showed so many pictures of her at first.

"My lovely wife. Her smile is always a soothing cure for me, her laughter a beautiful melody."

The projection changed.

"She is my light, my hope, my heart, and my soul."

Celine felt incredibly emotional. Tears streamed down her face, but she smiled through them.

"Every time I’m away from you for even a second, I realize I can never live without you..."

The projection continued.

"Our relationship started like something that would end immediately..."

Celine smiled even wider, another tear trailing down her cheek.

"For you, I’d cross boundless seas..."

The projection finally changed to a picture of her and Tristan on their wedding day.

"You and I... this is perfection."

Celine raised her head.

In front of her was a beautiful setting filled with flower petals and lights.

Tristan approached her.

"I love you, Celine. I love you so much," he said. "And every day of my life from now till the end, I’ll only love you more."

Celine touched his face. "I love you too, Tristan. So much."

He lowered himself to one knee.

A velvet box opened, revealing a diamond bracelet.

"Mrs. Celine Grayson, take this as a symbol of my eternal promise," he said. "To love and cherish you and our children until the end of time."

"Really? The end of time?" she teased.

"Yes. The end of time itself."

"Then I’ll hold you to your word, husband."

Their lips met as they held each other close, joy swelling inside them, and this joy remained between them growing stronger and stronger until the end of time...
