When An Jing came out after bathing, her eyes were once again red. It was clear that during her bath, An Jing couldn’t help but cry.
Upon seeing this, Su Changyi sighed with a gentle pain in his heart, then pulled An Jing to sit at the edge of the bed, softly consoling her: "We’ve both traveled here now, you can’t always be thinking about Jing’er and the others. Look at your eyes, they’ll probably be swollen tomorrow."
An Jing choked up, "I want to go back."
The words sounded so childish. Su Changyi couldn’t help but laugh and cry; "It’s not like we can go back just because we want to. Besides, if we go back, Youbao, Mo Mo, and Xin Xin are all here, especially Mo Mo and Xin Xin, they’re still so young, can you put your mind at ease?"

An Jing said nothing, simply holding him, burying her face in his embrace, sobbing.
The two little babies had originally fallen asleep after being fed, but woke up upon hearing the crying, both with eyes as bright as crystals, looking over at An Jing and Su Changyi. Su Changyi saw this and quickly said, "Stop crying, Mo Mo and Xin Xin woke up, if you keep crying, you’ll get them to cry along with you."
An Jing slightly raised her head, revealing an eye full of tears. In a blur, she saw the two little babies in the cradle really awake and looking over at them, and she quickly wiped her tears, stopping her sobs.
Su Changyi held An Jing with one hand, while his other hand was free to rock the cradle, letting Su Mo and Su Xin slowly drift back into dreamland.
"You go take a bath." An Jing choked up again with two cries, before coming out of Su Changyi’s embrace, pushing him to go take a bath.
Su Changyi knew that An Jing had to come to terms with her emotions before she could recover, so without saying more, he got up to bathe.
Once he came out from washing, he found An Jing already lying in bed. Although she wasn’t crying anymore, her expression clearly showed she was upset.
As soon as Su Changyi lay beside An Jing, she turned and hugged him tightly, and he returned her embrace just as firmly.
He intended to comfort her with a few words, but she spoke first: "Honey, I’m okay, don’t worry."
"Mm." He responded softly, holding her a little tighter.
After a long period of silence, she was still immersed in her troubled emotions, but couldn’t help but worry again, quietly saying: "Honey, if Wen Xian ends up with Chengyu, wouldn’t our family be tied to Ning Zihan again, then Youbao..."
Su Changyi said, "Youbao hasn’t liked him for a long time, so even if we’re connected, it’s no big deal, don’t worry."
An Jing nodded and didn’t say anything more.
Since she still felt distressed inside, An Jing didn’t fall asleep until past three in the morning. When An Jing woke again, most of her attention was on Su Mo and Su Xin, the two little babies, so naturally, she didn’t have much time to be sad, and her mood improved considerably.
In the days that followed, An Jing and the others would inform Ning Wenxian of Su Chengyu’s whereabouts so Ning Wenxian could ’accidentally’ run into Su Chengyu, pursuing him.
After twenty such encounters with Ning Wenxian, Su Chengyu finally couldn’t hold back his frustration, stopping in his tracks and turning around to yell at Ning Wenxian: "I run into you no matter where I go now, tell me, do you have someone planted near me?!"
